I am an adult and have been taking voice lessons with Valerie for a while. I enjoy
my lessons because she is very friendly, courteous and professional with her
teaching. She is a voice technician in making sure that my technique in warmups
as well as in the actual songs practiced are good; never neglecting performance
skills and enjoying the pieces. I’m learning to sing pieces in German, Latin, French
etc.
I always look forward to my lessons and am always reminded through the week
that I should practice so that I can be prepared for each lesson. This is always her
first question: Were you able to practice?
She loves music and teaching and always challenges me not only with music but
lessons in everyday life.
If you are looking for a voice / piano teacher learning from Valerie will not be a
